I heard a version of They Stood Up For Love, but it started with, the big bang never blew them away, Adam and Eve never made the grave,

and i can't remember the rest. There were no music in the background only Ed and the beautiful lyrics.

If you can help me I would really love it.

Hmm, no music and just Ed? That sounds interesting. There's a version of TSUFL called the "Ballad Version" which has those lyrics but it's a full band track.

If I recall correctly, back in 2000 MTV in Europe had a remix competition where there were 6 parts of the TSUFL track released. eg. drums, guitar, vocals etc. You were supposed to use some audio editing software to mix all the parts together to create a remix. I suppose the version you heard was just the vocals section? If anybody still has those tracks then they would be great to hear.

but wouldn't it be more likely by such a competition there were the normal lyrics released for the vocals track, instead of the ones from the 'Big Bang' version?

Btw that Bing Bang version, or how to call it, is a really cool version I think although it's a really early, alternative demo version of the final song that made it to the album. It's really a totally different song.
