Definitely think he was talking about Radiant Sea in terms of the CD part, "first official live album with some new songs." It was a separate thought from the DVD thing.

Ed was speaking of future projects. The key phrase in the interview was "official live cd". Radiant Sea was basically old holiday gifts that they attached 2 outtake songs to. They don't acknowledge its existence in concert, and only in interviews when pressed to do so.

The CD will be of new material, i'm almost certain of it.

but then i'am still wondering: new in a way we don't know it, or will they record some new songs? And new songs studio, or new songs live recorded?
But if they combine this again with live recordings, I think it means Live is moving away from the traditional albums (I already had that feeling when Ed said last year that 'there are now so much more ways to release music), but I don't like the thought we'll probably never get a new full Live record. Hope they'll continue releasing singles though.
Now I talk about it. A Dutch radio dj said on his show last week that a Live live cd was coming, together with a new single ... we'll thought it was bullshit again, and that he just heard about Radiant Sea. But it would fit with Ed's interview now I think about it...

If it will be something different than the Radiant Sea release, I guess Live MUST sing a recordlabel again, wheter they want or not. I mean, ActionFront is no way big enough to release a DVD or CD all ober the world in shops.
Btw I would be really disapointed if the DVD will also be a thing that you can just order via FOL shop. I want a proper release!!
