Found this article about Live from the Edmonton Journal. Thought it was interesting and was wondering about the reaction to it here:

Beautiful Invisible

After years of Top 10 hits, Live is now poised to be one of those bands destined to live out the rest of their years on the fringes of the mainstream.

Which is exactly where it seems Ed Kowalczyk and co. want to be — if the title of one of their new songs, Beautiful Invisible, is any indication.

It's one of the tracks on Live's latest disc, Radiant Sea: A Collection of Bootleg Rarities and Two New Songs. While the rockers released a digital version of the album on their own label, Action Front Records, their efforts were all but eclipsed by those issued by Radiohead and Nine Inch Nails

Appropriately enough, Live is scheduled to perform on the fringes of Edmonton — April 25 at the River Cree Resort and Casino.

Tickets are on sale Wednesday, March 19.

Quite an idiotic article. I bet if it has not been for the show ad, it could have well remained unwritten. Moreover, funny enough that the author puts LIVE in one row with NiN and Radiohead. I know they go together in this niche with online releases, but....yanno... I would not compare the level of mass appeal of these bands. And above....How on earth does he know what the guys feel like?

Also Radiant Sea wasn't a studio album. It was basically two V outtakes and old holiday gift songs. The band doesn't publicly acknowledge the album or even play the two "new" songs in concert. Dopey article overall.
