Overrated Options

What song(s) by Live do you think people just gave too much credit? Songs that really weren't all that good...

They don't have to be popular commercially either. I think Night of Nights is overrated in the Live community personally.

Anyhoots, My choice is Overcome. This song comes off as whiny and reminds me of a desperate attempt by live to get sales from 9/11.

Actually I don't think any song by Live is really 'overrated', but I do think it's a shame most people always talk about songs like All Over You, The Dolphin's Cry, Overcome, I Alone and Lighting Crashes. Sure, I love these songs really much, but I think people should start talking more about masterpieces like Ghost, Mother Earth is a Vicious Crowd, Pillar of Davidson etc.

But then again, that's what the real fans are for!

It's always cool at shows to distinguish the hard-core fans from the casual listeners that just recognize the hits.

I met these guys in the row behind me at a Live show that were also major fans and we had a competition going who could call the tunes first. They were impressive (grant you, our game was not difficult) but I was winning (the Live Geek trophy of the night) and this chick beside me was all incredulous over it "You're nailing em' on the first note!" Threw her off when between tunes there was some loud mic feedback. She eagerly looked at me and when I didn't offer one up (duh!) she excitedly turned to the guys like she was about to piss herself in anticipation, urging them to name it.
