From the poor quality version of God Don't Ever Change that we have, I'd love to hear that turn up in studio form, it sounded absolutely rockin', I wouldn't mind them taking a more bluesy sort of style for a bit.

yeah I agree with you all that it would be cool if it became a new song (although they have never put out a cover at one of their previous studioalbums).
But I'm afraid that when it would be actually recorded, it doesn't turn out like everyone hopes. Didn't the same thing happened to early SFBM songs (the 5 that people heard in concert before the album came). The studio songs were less 'rocky' than the concert versions seemed like, and although I think God don't ever change was really cool live (as far as I could hear from recordings), it can turn out to be a dissapointment.

The difference is: on stage all 4... (all right: 5 smile.gif ) do their thing, going out of their minds and are really excited to play their own thing. They can also add things that they like, a little extra guitar solo, changing the bass, diff. drums, etc. In the studio it is Ed that comes up with the song, and the others not having to much inluence, just playing the instruments.

Unless... the new album will get a whole new approach (the "pre-V approach"), and as Ex is expecting, the 4 contributing all to the music (btw Ex: why do you think this ?). I would really like them to do a sort of 'jam' in the studio, just like they do on stage. And well than, God don't ever change can become good in studio version also (not to say: kick ass!! rockin.gif )
