If Live were to release a new album and a digital version for less, which would you purchase and why?
I'd Buy A Physical Copy [ 32 ] ** [68.09%]
I'd Buy The Cheaper Digital Copy [ 1 ] ** [2.13%]
I'd Buy Both [ 14 ] ** [29.79%]

i was at a friends house the other day, his dad is an audiophile, has this $50,000 system that he pieced together, replacing all the copper wiring in the amps with silver and even the wiring in his house, gets his equipment and all his cd's cryogenically frozen on the other side of the country so that the molecules are are apparently more compact and alligned its all above my head really

i thought it was all a bunch of wank until they played me some stevie ray vaughn and johnny cash and i was blown the fuck away. Unlike anything ive ever heard. This shit sounds like the band is in your living room on stage playing for you, the sound doesnt sound like its comming from the speakers which are right in front of you... i brought my awake cd and wanted to blow everyone away with lightning crashes but the sound was pretty ordinary. There was distortion and it was a little unclear. That pissed me off but does anyone think that could be due to the fact that the awake cd is a compilation and likely more compressed because it has 19 tracks???

these guys apparently have different releases of the same album of say deep purple for example, and there are major differences in quality from cd to cd. I also played dance with you but the same problems.. do you think that the original releases of the live albums would have this problem??
