First we have Live, Counting Crows and Collective Soul, now these two artists are making a go. I guess 90's nostalgia is in full swing. Anyone plan on attending? I may hit either the Borgata or Mohegan Sun.

Don't like Alanis too well, but M20 is fucking awesome. Father likes them as well.

I attended the show this past Monday and was pleasantly surprised by Alanis' set. She had a nice build throughout the hour long performance and it was just a lot of fun. The only negative is that it was sometimes hard to hear her vocals over the backing instruments, I'm not sure if that is a usual occurence during her show or the hazards of being an opening act?

Matchbox Twenty had a crisper sound than Alanis, but I found them to be very dull onstage. At 2 hours there set was just too long! They also had very little band interaction and Rob Thomas seemed to be coasting through his performance.

It seems, Alanis won this Live fan over.

Sorry to hear that you didn't enjoy the show. I'm guessing that you were excited about it prior to attending.

I enjoyed Alanis a lot. The concert was a lot of fun. While Matchbox Twenty were dull, I'm happy I attended the show. I wasn't overally excited about the show beforehand, but it was worth watching.

Good to hear you thought it was worthwhile! They got to make their money off of someone.
