Does anyone have the ability to remix a song off of a CD?

Yesterday, while listening to my iPod, I found that if you only played Radiant Sea through the right speaker it cut out most of the background crap that I hate about the song, which made it totally awesome.

If you could cut out the left speaker sound and mix it so the right came out of everything only, I would love that version!

That's easily done.

I'll make a new mix of the track tonight, but if you want to give it a go yourself I'd recommend downloading Audacity - http://audacity.sourceforge.net/

All you need to do is copy the right channel over to the left channel.

While it's been a while since I have used it or perhaps there is a better program out there, but I used to be able to do a lot with Mp3 Pro.

I have no idea how to do that stuff.

If either of you could do it that would be awesome. The song is way better if you filter out the rap in the background and most of it comes out of one speaker.

I'm pretty sure I was listening to my right headphone since it was in my right ear, but it was dark so it may have been the left.

I messed around with the track tonight but I was unable to filter out the rap part of the track. The left and right channels are very similar so I don't know why you couldn't hear the rap when only listening to the right channel...

Maybe somebody with more audio editing experience could get a better result?

I'm sorry, I didn't mean cutting out the rap verse of the song. I meant cutting out the background repeat throughout the song that sounds like a whisper. It is primarily played through the left speaker, so cutting it out and listening throught the right eliminates most of it.

Oops. Sorry I misread your post. If you still want my mono-mix, let me know.
