This one tops the cake. Worst thread I've read in a long time. I actually can't believe the stupidity of what I'm reading.

Live is at their best when they perform live, and if you look at the albums that Live has actually released, I believe that THIS IS THEIR BEST ALBUM to date

You cannot be serious. This mis-matched, ultra rough compilation shouldn't even be in consideration for best album.

I'm not going to quote your response to each song, since all of your descriptions are pretty much equally ridiculous.. but I had to respond to some

4. I Alone: I think this is Live's most overrated song, but again it rocks, especially in concert. This is one of the best versions of I Alone out there and it is much better than the TC track

It just is. Is this so? I don't know why you keep saying it, but you can't make a claim that all these songs are 'much better than the album versions' without backing it up with any objective reasoning whatsoever.

5. Lakini's Juice: This cd keeps getting better. Lakini's Juice is totally awesome, but Lakini's Juice live is the shit. "GET THE FUCK UP!". Listen to the difference between the SS version and the RS version. It blows SS out of the water, which is hard to do since it already rocks!

I'm very tired so maybe I'm missing the point... is this thread a joke??? Honestly...

9. Sweet Release: This is the best version of this song that I have ever heard and it is one of my favorite Live songs. It completely blows the studio version out (which again is hard to do) and if it were released as a single like this after Heaven it would have been all over the airwaves. Fucking awesome song (an iPod must).

You actually believe that a Live version of what is essentially not even a very well written song would have been all over the airwaves??

Lmao at 'an ipod must'.

It has a great sound

This coming from someone who would completely dismiss one whole channel of a two channel recording. Yeah.. I don't think your opinion is credible here.

Album Summary: This is simply the best complete album Live has ever released. Almost every song on this album is an upgrade over the studio version, and even the songs that aren't my favorites in studio really shine on Radiant Sea. Many of the versions on this album are the best versions of the songs I have ever heard. The quality of the live recordings are fantastic. The two new songs on the album are a great addition to the Live library, and if you do not have them yours is not even close to complete.

Ultimate fan-boy material.

They seriously should drop the studio and record everything in concert!

lol.gif Great line.

I cannot believe that you actually completely do not understand the album format. Some bands (probably not Live anymore) put so much time in to creating an album as an album! Not just some collection of songs, they're actually supposed to be listened to in the order in which they are presented. The 'ipod age' is ruining this, taking away the artwork and all of the extra things that you get with a physical copy of the cd. And now you think some shitty compilation thrown together no better than what a fan could do is Lives best album? One that wasn't even available to purchase through ordinary means?

No, are you serious?

First of all fuck you calling me a fanboy, I say it how it is. I rip Live when they suck and I speak out when people rip shit I like. I don't hold punches.

Apparently you missed the entire point of the thread which is to analyze the album on your own, not to analyze what everyone else says. Thanks for wasting your time.

That being said, I agree to disagree with you. It's my opinion. I can tell you right now that I would choose this album over any other Live album released because it sounds the best from start to finish. The arrangement of songs is great and the album rocks. They haven't released a better album to listen to. Just because it is a compilation of bootlegs doesn't discredit it. The versions released by Live on this album are way better than most of the studio versions.

You go on to critique my opinion by stating that I have no objective reasoning then you call it a shitty compliation without explaining why. At least I spoke to the songs. Take your time to do the same. I'm guessing you want people to break down the composition of each track and analize the drums, vocals, bass and guitar. Get a life. I spoke about my feelings on the songs and that's enough said.

Finally, don't insult me by calling me part of the iPod age. I fully understand what an album is and there aren't many created today. Live is fully capable of writing an "album" of songs and recording it live. That would be a huge improvment over writing an "album" and recording the exact same songs in a studio because they sound way better in concert. Just look at the tracks on RS for proof. You must be stupid to misunderstand that point. An album does not have to be recorded in a studio setting idiot.

You are a total moron!
