PS - Thanks for the info about DC. I guess if we're not going to stay in the area of the club, what is a good hotel in DC? I realize there's probably tons, but any guidance you can offer would be really helpful.

If you're going to this show in D.C., your best bet is to stay somewhere in the NW section, like the Foggy Bottom or Dupont Circle neighborhoods. D.C. is broken into 4 quadrants (northwest, southwest, southeast, and northeast). From what I know about the town, the NW section is by far the way to go. The 9:30 Club I think is on the edge of the NW section on V street in kind of a shitty area, but it's a pretty short taxi ride or maybe even subway ride (metro) over. You shouldn't have a problem finding a hotel........they're pretty abundant. Good luck. I'll be going to this show too. I live in Philly, but have the good fortune to be working nearby in Arlington VA that week. The 9:30 Club is a great room too for those of you never there.....worth the effort to make the trip.
