Discussing the video's, #2 - Like a Soldier Options

As a follow up of the topics that discussed each album, or even each song (years ago 'song of the day'), I was thinking it would be usefull to discuss each video every week, or day or something. Just to get the board live. Can be interesting when somebody wants to know the meaning of the video, where was it shot?, the guys in that period of their carreer, does it fit the song?

I'll start with some

Like a Soldier

I didn't like the video when I first saw it on Awake (the 'film' part and the 'band' part seemed so separated), and maybe also because I wasn't a great fan of the song), but now after a few years when I watched it at youtube, I liked it more. it's good to see how they looked more like a rock-band back than, even Ed playing guitar . My two questions are: where was it shot? (I guess Australia on Tour, as the video was released over there). It's good shooted footage, do you think there is more footage of the concert or was it especially shot to use in the video? My 2nd: is the other half of the video from a movie or something? Cause I think it would be odd if it was filmed only for Live's video that wasn't even released worldwide (well, at elast, not in Holland).
