I've considered making this thread for a long time but avoided it b/c not every member is from America and might be left out. Still, I'll go on.

Who are you supporting for the presidential race of 2008 in the U.S? If you want, you can also discuss members of politics in other countries as well if you feel others might follow you (lot's of aussies on the board!)

Also, is there anyone you would just hate to see leading your country? I want to know who the fans of live want to run the country! bounce.gif

Ron Paul would be ideal, but for someone with a realistic chance, I'd support Hillary. yay.gif

Dude... This is exactly what I think... creepy nervous.gif

I'm going to support Ron Paul as much as I can however... He is only as unlikely as we view him. I agree with him on most issues except Abortion. Hoodstock made a good point though that a simple thing like abortion shouldn't get in the way of the big picture. I do believe the government should stay out of a woman's private life but Paul only hates abortion because he was a doctor and stuff.

I'm a little biased I think though... His son came and gave a small campaign speech at UNT. If any other candidate came to my school I guess I would care for them too but all they care about is winning the evangelical and elderly vote (which are sometimes the same thing...)
