College Sports and the Big Ten Options

I am pretty sure that most will not care, but the Big Ten is sucking at major sports this year. Michigan loses to Appalachian State in football earlier this year, a Division I-AA team. Now Michigan State loses to Grand Valley State, a Division II team, in basketball. In addition, Division II Findlay defeated Ohio State in basketball also. The basketball games are exhibition, so they do not count in the standings, but what happened to the time when the Big Ten was dominant at most sports. At least the Big Ten still has field hockey, volleyball, and wrestling.

You can count the basketball losses as proof of the Big Ten's sucking, but worst of all is that OSU is actually #1 in football despite beating only Big Ten teams, Youngstown State, Akron, Washington, Northwestern and Kent State. Give me a fucking break. That kind of schedule is played by community colleges and high schools for the blind, not #1 teams. The reason I bring this up is because OSU will get into the BCS game only to be embarrassed once more, again showcasing the Big Ten's shortcomings on a national stage. Fuck the Big Ten.
