Just wondering if anyone was dressing up or dressing up their children this year. If so what are you/they going as? I myself haven't dressed up in a few years, but I think I'm going to school as Gilligan this year. Now if any of my students know who that is will be interesting to find out.

Anyone else?

Can't say I've ever "gotten into the spirit" of Halloween really, except last year, I went to a party dressed as Mick Taylor from Wolf Creek .. cos, come on, that's awesome.

I'm gonna try avoid the suburban streets on wednesday though, the past couple of years you just get mobbed by kids wanting chocolate from you ... see I wouldn't mind that if I said no they would come back and fuck me up big time at 3am, but there is absolutely no repercussions of saying no! They want their treat but aren't prepared to trick for it, that just makes it too easy to say no, so they don't get anything from me, they have to earn it, costumes are only half of that.

I also find it funny how it's just gone daylight savings here, so all the kids are out on the scariest night of the year - in the god damn sunlight.

Yeah, what Alex said tongue.gif
