Last night's Live show in Vegas was canceled due to a sandstorm. Not having a back-up venue shows how pathetic Mandalay Bay is when scheduling concerts. Booking a beach show in mid-October is idiotic to begin with. I am so happy I decided to skip this show.

Not a great way to end the tour, hoping to see the band back in early 2008.

(I'm new at this...please forgive the blank post...Oops!) Anyway, I had tix to last night's show and I can't even begin to tell you how disappointed I was when it was cancelled. cry.gif I was never too keen on the idea of it being outside on "the beach" but I decided to tough it out cuz THIS IS LIVE we're talkin' about. I heard on the news several days ago that the weather was gonna suck and I'd probably be miserable BUT THIS IS LIVE we're talkin' about. The cancellation killed the great mood I had been in leading up to the show, but you know what? I would pay for the ridiculously high priced tickets and drive all the way across town in a terrible sand storm AGAIN, AGAIN & AGAIN......BECUZ THIS IS LIVE WE'RE FREAKIN' TALKIN' ABOUT!!! They're worth it... music.gif

I doubt it. Maybe they'll play Vegas and Cal sometime next year as a make-up, but I don't think anything is imminent.
