Live World-Wide Fan Meet in NYC, April 18-21 2008 Options

Some people over at SOY are planning a pretty big fan meet next April in NYC. Not sure if anyone here is interested in attending, but I figured I would let you guys know. I messaged Pat D. through his myspace regarding the band playing the area during that time frame, and while his response wasn't committal, he seemed pretty enthusiastic about the idea.

If Live plays the area in conjuction with the weekend, I think a giant fan meet could be an awesome experience, especially if we all find a way to get along

I'm sure if the band knew it was going to be a concentrated fan show, they'd probably pull out some rare stuff. I'd certainly be interested in attending if it was a fanclub show or a small venue fans-only type gig.

I'm not trying to ruinn your excitement but I don't think the "pure Live fans show = special show with rare stuff and things" won't easily happen.

I attended a performance of Live in april 2006 that was made possible by the Dutch Live Fanclub (Subvulture of Live), and more than 1000 people of the 1500 were from the Dutch fanclub, so the band knew that no one loved their music more than we do.
Although it was a really great concert I never forget!, we still we got a very standard setlist (which was played just very good, no offend), but nothing special for people who is waiting for rare stuff or something, even less exciting than the setlists that followed after april on the SFBM tour.
