The Unheard Sounds of 9/11, new article about Overcome and 9/11 Options

I was pleasantly surprised to find a Live-related article on The Huffington Post this morning...

Two days later -- exhausted from lack of sleep -- I went home to take a shower and return to work. In the car, I heard on the radio a song that had been released that day by Ed Kowalczyk and the band Live. It was called "Overcome". And listening to the song, exhausted, I was overcome. It was all too much. The song was posted on the Internet so that anyone could download it.

I downloaded it, and working with my partner and wife Pam Yoder -- we began to cut images to the worlds and music.

Music is a magical thing. It sometimes is the only language that makes sense...

Wow, that was a great article. Thanks so much for posting it. Everything about 9/11 is still so vividly clear in my mind. The shock, horror and, sadness. I remember that they closed schools early and when I picked up my son from elementary school I told him I would explain what was going on when we got home. As I looked into his innocent face and tried to find the right words I was so overcome by emotion I could barely speak. I know that the song wasn't written about that day, but it certainly captured the feelings of the nation then. It still brings back images and emotions of the events of 9/11, but now the words come back to me almost everytime I watch the news. Thanks to the filmmakers, Ed and LIVE for the beautiful tribute video.
