95.5 WPLJ radio in NYC is doing a Labor Day countdown of the top 500 songs of the last 20 years, and Lightning Crashes came in at 116 and Heaven came in at #62. Pretty cool stuff!

Well, thanks Torcatofan for being cool and understanding opinions. I actually thought about the post before I hit enter and went back and put "in my opinion" because I felt it would avoid a songwar of some kind... shrug.gif

I dunno why I prefer Heaven... We all have memories of Lightning Crashes as this song that kinda defined our teenage years in the 90's. The snowballing, emotional buildup in the song definitely has a place in all our hearts. I have some good memories of cruising in my car, totally lost, but singing LC as loud as I can and not hearing myself over the sound.

Heaven is a song that is best performed live. I have only had BOP for about 5 weeks so of course I am still hooked on it. Alot of you probably have memories of BOP after V and got excited about Live again (if you ever stopped being excited!)

Different songs mean different things to different people music.gif
