This may be old news, but it was news to me. In the Fredrick News article on the Triple Play show, Collective Soul's guitarist Joel Kosche said "Ed's lyric writing is a little more introspective -- he's going through a divorce, he lost his father a few years ago..."

[edit] Thanks for the clarification from PurdueSteve, the Ed refered to in the article is Collective Soul's Ed, not Live's Ed. My mistake. Good article anyways.

This is a Live message board, not a Collective Soul message board. I don't care that you posted this thread, but you might want to change the title to reflect "Ed from Collective Soul". Since Live's front man's name is also Ed, most will see your thread topic and assume that's the Ed you're referring to.

My mistake. I had no idea. I am a long time Live fan (and obviously not a CS fan). Thanks for the clarification. Mods please delete if you would like.
