Thought - why is it I watch this clip and see the excitement and enthusiasm of the crowd(s), which clearly outnumber the Triple Play crowds. But yet today, the guys are cancelling shows because of poor tickets. Why? Granted, the Triple Play shows include other bands but wasn't the Cleveland LIVE only?

I know this clip only includes their first 4 albums but they're still performing songs from those albums ... why aren't people buying tickets? Is it because of their newer "sound", price of tickets, both? The guys clearly have as much energy today as they did back then ... is it the fans that changed? I've seen the discussions about how the newer albums aren't as popular ... I don't know ...

Just sucks to see them not-so-long ago and then see them over the weekend and see how fans / crowds have changed ... is it just The States?

honestly, i think the long term fans from MJ or TC... are dissappointed in the new "sound"... or the fact that the angst has left them... their "rawness" isn't there anymore... but, how could it be? ed's voice isn't that of the 90's.. and he makes all the songs sound..."happy".... live was my band for the longest time, and i only saw them in concert once in '97 and in sept. they're gonna be right down the road from me in greenville, SC (1st time ever)... and i won't be there.. probably... i just don't want to be dissappointed.

if anyone is looking for that rawness in a great band.... i suggest you check out Rocco Deluca and the Burden. i saw them last night in a small venue... and all i can say is WOW!!!!!
