LIVE was awesome tonight. Set list ROCKED like I have never seen (and that is saying a lot). Mother Earth is a Vicious Crowd!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (music and lyrics PERFECT), Sweet Release and Where Do We Go From Here!!!! Also the cover song by Blind Willie Johnson which kicked ASS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The last time I heard Mother Earth is a Vicious Crowd was at CBGB's circa 1991ish!!!!!! I couldn't be a happier FAN than I am right now.

OMG, that was SOOO amazing!!! I travelled so far for that show (though I know LIVEheads have travelled further)... and it was SO worth it!!! I requested Mother Earth on Myspace, along with Dance With You (my fave LIVE song ever), and got BOTH!!! Last time i saw them, last year near San Diego (my first LIVE show after waiting 14 years) it was cool enough to hear Mirror Song...but THIS?! i nearly lacerated my throat screaming; i just couldn't BELIEVE it!!! i was HOPING and yet not daring to hope for either Mother Earth or my other MJ request, Brothers Unaware, and got one!!! Mother Earth is my TRANCE song; it puts me in some Other Place. And then Dance With You, which i didn't get to hear my first show; SOOO ecstatic!!! HAD to get on that stage, baby! And then i got on again after and managed to nab a setlist of that oh-so-memorable night! AND got hi-fives from Chad T and Adam!!! best night of my LIFE!!! WELL worth waiting 15 yrs to dance with EddieK and the boys!!!

its just too bad they never play any of the old Public Affection songs anymore; for my money most of Death of a Dictionary is as great an album as Mental Jewelry, and that's saying a lot.

now if someone would just put the lyrics to "God Never Changes" on here somewhere in the miscellaneous category...i can't find it anywhere! understandable; its circa 1929!!!
