That's all I can say really. Puddle of Mudd was pretty decent this time although Wes seemed to not interact with the crowd to well. Seemed like he lacked confidence. But the band sounded pretty good and Wes sounded average, which is a vast improvement for him from past shows.

Daughtry? Well his band was slightly below average in my book. Just seemed to be off to me. But Chris sounded almost perfect. The guy has one of the most powerful voices I've ever heard and I was extremely impressed with his performance.

Now, NICKELBACK. HAHAHAHAHAHA......The dude made me laugh over and over, which was quite a feat since I was not in a very good mood. Show started off with Animals and i was taken aback right away. I remember thinking "what the FUCK?" This is the same Nickelback I hear on the radio?

Their acoustic version of rockstar was nothing like the overproduced garbage you hear on the radio. I fucking detest that song when I hear it on the radio and turn it immediately. But it was the complete opposite in concert. Figured you out completely fucking rocked bad ass wailing rock, plain and simple. It blew me away.

Above all else, Kroeger(sp?), was fucking hilarious on stage. He was confident and funny and his crowd interaction was actually quite unlike anything I've ever seen before. They threw about 100 beer into the crowd. Shot off canons of free shit with Chris Daughtry and he even apologized for swearing so much after he spotted a six year old girl with her mom close to the stage. He told her she was a sweetheart and that she shouldn't repeat anything he says, it was so adorable.

Of course a few of the songs were cliche and didn't do much for me, but overall? This show was really fucking good. I ended up thinking to myself that I've been such a narrow minded idiot in teasing this band and refusing to see their live show. I think anybody that leaves without seeing them is seriously missing out on an entertaining, fun show. This was the most I've been entertained in quite awhile and to be brutally honest, it was worlds better than the last 3 LIVE shows I've seen.

A tribute to dimebag darrell was mint. They played a song and stopped in the middle to let a wicked recorded guitar solo of his go off. Dude spouted off about people out on the hill(lawn seats at the amphitheatre) having the good seats and hiding in the corners twisting em up and calling us all "fucking rednecks" Then saying it was allright cos he was a fucking redneck and that anybody who wasn't could FUCK OFF!(scream) Hehehehe, the guy was hilarious all night and his confidence was unlike anything I've seen in a while. I can see easily why his fans are so enamored with him.

To top it all off, the drummer did a 5 minute long barrage of pounding the shit out of his skins. Again, I was like, WTF???

In closing, I'm still not a fan of this band but i will tell you this. I WILL go see this band again no fucking question. Call me unintelligent mr big bad ed stipe, i don't give a fuck. This show was entertaining, fun and actually blew me away with some metal stlye pounding rock 4 or 5 times. I was stunned with my about face after realizing what i felt about what i just saw. Good on you Nickelback. and fuck all the naysayers who are missing out on a good show. Not to mention the asses I saw that were beautiful and round and smiling at me. WOW.

If someone promises to throw a rock at Chad Kroeger again, I'd check out Nickeback in concert. Otherwise, I'm good.

That said, I'm glad you enjoyed the show.

Thanks Nick.

But I have to say that rock throwing at anyone in concert is fucking moronic and utterly ignorant. Anybody who enjoyed seeing that is a piece of garbage in my book. I'd seriously pity the poor bastard who tried to do that if I was there and happened to see them. They'd seriously regret the day god gave them balls because they would honestly be coughing them up, plain and simple.

To be brutally honest, Nickelback puts on a way better stage show than LIVE does. Miles better in my opinion. They have nowhere near the aura Live does IMHO, and the music has nowhere near the meaning, but Kroeger is one entertaining fucking guy. I seriously admired his stlye and confidence and his voice is so much easier to take in concert. I LIKED the guy, and that means a lot coming from me. For I rarely like anyone and am quite the critic and pissant when it comes to judging live concert music.

Anybody who is narrow minded enough to just say no thanks to them? Good for you!!!! You are missing out on one enjoyable rock show. I have promised myself to be more open minded about these things in the future. I can't believe how wrong I was about being so anal and anti nickelback. I mean, i still am in a sense but on the other hand, I've got a whole new found respect for these guys. They can all play individually and as a group, put on one serious kick ass rock concert.

That's your opinion and your entitled. However I severely doubt that I would agree that they put on a better concert than Live. You may think so, and that's fine, but it doesn't make it so.

As for Kroeger, he is one of the most despised men among DJ's and people in the industry due to the awful treatment he bestows upon them. He's pompous and down-right rude. On 92.3 K-Rock DJ's openly speak out against the guy and that rarely ever happens on NYC radio. He may seem like a fun guy on stage, but he is one grade-A asshole.

You have your opinion and I have mine. Never said that chad wasn't an asshole. But just about everybody seems to think ed is a bigger one so..... deduce something from that pal.

After seeing LIVE tonight, I am 100 percent convinced that Nickelback puts on a ten thousand times better show than Live. And I was drunk and biased for LIVE. Completely sober and objective for Nickelback.

And just as much as I think Nickelback put on a better show, you are convinced LIVE does. Doesn't make your opinion any better than mine....yours being that LIVE put on a better show. My opinion being that you are fooling yourself if you think a LIVE show comes anywhere close....and this coming from a guy who is SEVERELY biased in favor of LIVE.
