What's Up With The Setlist??? Options

I absolutely love Live, but the setlist has to change . I just checked what they played on June 10th this year with Collective Soul. It's almost the exact same setlist as last year . It was:

1) Mystery
2) All Over You
3) Selling The Drama
4) The River
5) Mirror Song
6) They Stood Up For Love
7) Voodoo Lady
8) Wings
9) Shit Towne
10) I Walk The Line [Johnny Cash]
11) Iris
12) The Dolphin's Cry
13) Heaven

ENCORE
14) Sofia
15) Lakini's Juice
16) I Alone
17) Lightning Crashes
18) Operation Spirit
19) Dance With You

The statement from one of the people at the concert was that Collective Soul was great since they were playing songs that everyone knew, and that when Live went on a stretch of what seemed like 8 songs that people weren't familiar with the place started to clear out . I'm sorry, but Voodoo Lady, Wings, Sofia, Iris, Mirror Song, and I Walk The Line have to go. As a diehard Live fan, I don't even care for these songs. I can see why people who don't follow every step of the band's career walk out. In addition, Dance With You is good, but they've been closing with that forever and a concert should end on something upbeat anyway. That's more of a middle of the show song so people can get up to get a beer. I'll be really disappointed if they come to Michigan with that setlist, especially since I didn't care for it last year.

Live, if you are looking, PLEASE MIX IT UP !!!!!

Oh yeah go ahead and that lay that "I'm not a REAL fan" bullshit on me. I've heard it all before and it's probably the lamest arguement you can come up with. Did it occur to you that maybe I'm not as into the band anymore because their music isn't as good as it used to be? Does that mean that I have to forget about all of the great music that they've made before and completely forget about them and the fact that their music has had a huge affect on my life? If you don't like reading my posts put me on your ignore list. Hell why did you bother coming back to this board anyway? Weren't you the one that made a big huge deal about how you weren't going to post here anymore and yadda yadda yadda? Well, the time period I'm talking about here, is during a long stretch when you seem to have been dissatisfied with Live's music. So don't use that self justifying lame ass argument, then turn around and tell me mine is the last I can come up with. Live have been making subpar music for over seven years now according to you, so I'd bet the farm that your about face is due to something entirely different. In fact, I know it is. But I won't argue with you about that because you aren't, and NEVER will be, woman enough to admit it.

Second, I never called you a fat ugly c*** nor did I make any comment on how unhappy your husband must be....you did. Reread my post and stop putting words in my mouth in order to fulfill your need for self justification and worth. Doing that and following it up with the cliche "you don't know a thing about me," is pretty pathetic since I never even came close to saying the things you've dredged up in your warped little mind.

What I do know about you is that you're a catty, self righteous, borderline obsessive little girl trapped in a womans body. You've been here arguing with Nick for years about the same crap over and over and over again. I've heard you say a million times that you're not going to bother anymore, you're wasting your breath and "yadda yadda yadda" to quote yourself. So before you try and belittle me for coming back to annoy you people, take a look in the mirror ya god damned hypocrit. Yeah you haven't called me any names yet but I'm just going by what you have done in the past. I am 100 percent certain that you have called me a cunt in the past and I guess I just expected you to revert to your old ways since it seems to be your arguing style. I apologize for putting words in your mouth.

As far as my reasons for not going to see Live anymore, I think I have covered them all with the exception of the fact that I think the band leaves a lot to be desired in their apprecation of their fans but I won't go into to that since I'm sure I will again get slammed for having the opinion that Ed is a dick. Which I'm sure is an opinion other people share as well. And yes it did take several years for me to admit that I find their newer music to be subpar. I guess I was giving them a chance to redeem themselves while still supporting them by going to shows and buying their cds. How terrible of me.

So yeah at this point I think I'll keep posting here just because I know it annoys you.

I should also add that I never said I was going to leave this board, I have too many freinds here, I did however say that I was going to ignore Nick. Which is what I did for quite some time. At this point though Nick and I actually get along most of time and are quite civil to one another.
