Unannounced Tour Speculation Thread, March 14, 2008 and beyond Options

Since it seems clear that LIVE will be making up tour dates from what was to be their fall US tour, I'd figure this thread could help us to speculate what states, cities, venues the band may be playing this year.

My semi-educated guess would be that LIVE will be announcing tour dates for 2007 in the following states: (New York, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, Georgia, California, and Ohio). Now I could be totally wrong, but those areas seem the most likely for make-up dates. And from what I heard this tour should continue throughout the summer.

Should be an exciting time, if anyone has any other areas you think they could play, please post them here!

A couple of CS fans contacted me about it on Myspace because they know I'm a Live fan and hoped I had some info on it. Apparently two different people posted messages about it on Collective Soul's page under the comments. One mentioned something about the two bands playing a show together in CT and another said something about a rumor of a CS/Live tour. A CS friend of mine called her local radio station in CT and they told her they had heard the same rumor but could not confirm it. That could just mean they know about it but can't say anything yet or it could just mean they are doing one show together in CT or it could all just mean nothing. So I guess we wait and see.

It would be a fun tour, hopefully I'd be able to get to a show if it happens.

Ed mentioned at Starland that the band would be embarking on a 4th month tour beginning in July. That would mean that the band will be playing dates into October. I'm guessing some of these dates will be with Collective Soul and perhaps some will be solo shows. Counting Crows tour ends September 2nd and I doubt we'll see any more Triple Plays after that date.

Looks to me like Live is building up funds to finance a new album. I've never seen the guys tour this much!
