Location: On bus headed from New Brunswick, NJ to Fairfax, VA.

Today we submit HOME to the Toronto International Film Festival. We've been blessed to have great performances coupled with stellar directing, editing and music. Hopefully the films panel of judges feels that way too!

I'm going to try and post daily throughout the LIVE summer/fall tour. Hopefully I can flow like I did several years ago.

My wish is to give an uncensored view of my personal experience touring in America.

Frankly, the last two shows were really tough for me as my monitor mix was a wreck and I couldn't hear the band, or myself for that matter. I can't begin to tell you how frustrating that is. You spend all day getting excited to play for your fans and technical issues hold you back.

Look. I'm no rookie, I normally ignore that type of thing but after two shows of it I'm sick of bad sound on stage. Thanks for letting me vent.

On the positive side LIVE fans are coming out of the woodwork to see these shows and we are always thrilled to see "sold out" associated with one of our shows.

I would like to find a way to connect with my MySpace friends before or after the shows, I would love to hear some suggestions that involve charitable work.

Thanks for reading.

Its probably going to just talk about the 18 pizzas he eats every day. That boy packed on the weight. Its painful to watch him try to lift his leg to do his stomp.

I guess I wasn't the only one who noticed this. I didn't even recognize him at the Starland - and that's not a good thing.

My first thought when he came out was "woah..." He didn't look that big in Allentown in April or Atlantic City in November. But hey, he got a few good stomps in.

Thank heavens the last two shows went technically better! Fairfax and NYC simply rocked. We've had great crowds at each show but I personally felt it just a bit more for the last two. In fact, I could barely walk this morning my feet are swollen from too much stomping.

I'm taking a break from all my projects to spend some time with the kids at the beach. I love the ocean, although I'm not exactly in 'beach body shape' this year. I was a vegetarian and couldn't stay away from pasta. Now I've totally flipped to the low-carb high protein approach and am hitting the gym.

I'm getting some good charity suggestions for the road. Please keep them coming, I'm sure we can make a difference somehow.

I'm going to check to see if any cool bands are playing the Bottle and Cork to see if I can sit in for a song or two.

Oh, almost forgot, going to watch the Soprano's last episode too.

Happy summer,

Chad D. Taylor
