Live will be playing at the DTE "aka Pine Knob" on Sunday July 8th and co-headlining with Collective Soul. I've heard no news on who will open.

Never heard of em' but I've been impressed by something new to me there before. I'd never heard of The Kenny Wayne Shepherd Band before seeing them opening for Van Halen out at Pine Knob. A guitar-focal opening act being apropos to the mood naturally suited an audience there to behold Eddie's brilliance.

As for occupying your Live-lovin' selves while you're visiting, check out Great Lakes Crossing and do spend generously on behalf of our sad-ass Michigan economy.

The venue is impressive and is situated within a rather upscale area and is as mentioned well outside 'Detroit', which btw needn't be as dreaded as some appear to believe. Should you ever have the opportunity to be here, our Detroit venues from arenas to theatres and clubs are all worthwhile and supported by much historical and cultural pride.
