Band Bashing, Is This All This Board And Its Moderators Do? Options

Every Off-Topic thread, or at least every thread about another band is just pure bashing. Is there anything better to do then bash another group and their music? I hate to break it to you, but with the way Live has been going the recent years it is like the pot calling the kettle black if ya'll know what I mean.

Saying rush are far ahead of Live musically and technically, is just a bit of an overstatement. That is, if it were to be looked at "objectively."

You're completely ridiculous, aren't you? As Pokey said, that is completely irrelevant. Experience does, to an extent, have something to do with this, but that doesn't change my level of musical knowledge.

Secondly, my post was stating that Rush's new material is far better than Live's new material. Maybe I should have made it more clear that I meant that Rush's NEW material, compared to Live's NEW material, is far ahead in terms of musicality etc. But then I don't expect to be attacked about something completely irrelevant after making a post... The fact that you did this alone proves that age has less impact on maturity than it probably should.

This is the trouble with many people on forums; they can't seperate their own enjoyment of the music from an objective and un-biased viewpoint. So many people seem to think that their favourite band is the 'best band in the world'...

As musicians, Rush are definitely superior. But I still prefer, and enjoy Live a lot more than I do Rush.

Age and experience have lots to do with it douche, they contribute to knowledge.

Doesn't seem to have contributed much in your case.....

Besides, I've been going to music lessons since I was 4. My whole life revolves around music. I'm not going to be told by some loser on a forum that my musical knowledge amounts to nothing because of my age.

He might be old enough to be your grandson but he's a lot more mature than you are.

I agree for the most part.

But if I'm such a loser, why are you talking to me? What does that make you? Intellectually inferior, I can pretty much guarantee you that.

Irrelevant was my point? REALLY? You know nothing about music now compared to what you'll know 15 years from now, that's fact.

Also, some people do things all their lives, practice sport, music.....whatever. In no way does that mean you are good at it, "objectively" that is.
