I e-mailed Sony to ask about the fact that the Dual-Disc version of SFBM was taken off their site for pre-ordering, and got this response:

Hello Paul

Unfortunately, the release date for the DualDisc edition has been postponed indefinitely. At this time, we do not know when it will become available again.

Sincerely,
Sony Music Fulfillment Customer Service

I heard it was being postponed until December. I have no idea why that long - it doesn't make sense. huh.gif

It makes perfect sense. If the second single comes out in the fall, they could release the dualdisk just as the regular disk sales fall off. If they release both at the same time, they would just compete against each other. Very few fans would purchase both versions of SFBM. By staggering their releases, Epic should maximize sales of the new album.

Right, but why would they think of that only after they announced the DualDisc and take preorders for it?

Because someone messed up....lol

If it comes out in December it will be just in time for the Australian and New Zealand tour. Gives them something to promote when they finally go down under.
