LIVE: BEST DRUMS Options

I like Chad's drumming style and looking over their CD's, I'm trying to decide which individual Live track has the best drums. I just stated thinking about it and right now I'm leaning towards TBD, but I'd have to review some other songs.

I was wondering if anyone had a specific track where they thought Gracey really laid it down?

I think he must have used a different, more basic drum kit on MJ. I love the drums on that whole album. The drums that stick out in my head on that album is Mother Earth Is A Vicious Crowd and Good Pain. I especially love that hollow drum beat on Good Pain that carries the spirit of the whole song.

He's used the same kit configuration since the MJ days, but he upgraded from a Pearl Export series to the Masters series. Other than that, it's been the same setup.

There were some really good songs listed already: Still Aroused (HELL YES!), White Discussion and Stage (that song is still a bitch for me to play on drums).

To throw another one in there: Unsheathed. That song has a very unique drumming pattern for the verse that's pretty sweet. It's also hard to play if you don't have your kit set up the same way as he does, as he uses the 13" tom on his left and his splash. If you have a traditional kit, it's really hard to play that song just like him unless you play "open" stick style.

Like I Do is pretty good too, especially to stay on perfect rhythm through the verse with the snare beat he's using.
