When I was in high school I worked in the auditorium as part of the stage crew for any performances that were held there. We used to have "chicken" contests up in the attic/catwalk area in the ceiling of the auditorium. Basically, there was a hole cut into the ceiling that was used to project overhead lighting onto the stage. My fellow crew members and I would challenge each other to hang out of the hole as far as we would dare, with only the metal bar on which the lights were hung holding us for support. That basically meant wrapping my legs around the bar and hanging out past my waist, knowing full well that if my legs slipped I would plummet to a messy death. If you have ever looked up to the ceiling of an auditorium and realized how high up it is (over 100 feet) it would be pretty obvious why I consider it to be pretty crazy.

Other than that, I have done my fair share of streaking -- through streets, parties, fields, etc.

I also swam into a riptide at the beach once to rescue my younger brother who had been caught in it. It might not sound that crazy, but I don't know how to swim, so I was pretty lucky to have survived that.

I don't think I'd have the guts to do #1 again, but I'd have no problem with #2 or #3. rockin.gif
