Damien Rice Options

I am so in love with him. He's awsome. So much talent. And his sidekick Lisa's voice just blends so perfectly with his. And he's such a hottie I downloaded his songs but will def be buying his 2 albums. I just love Irish singers. They give me what I love: jangly guitars and lots lots of yodelling.

Anyone else a fan?

Sort of a fan - I can't listen to too much in one sitting or I get the urge to stick my head in the gas oven and switch it in. This comes from the girl who loves Jeff Buckley, Jimmy Gnecco and nearly wet herself in excitement when Dave McPherson from InMe did an EP because I always knew he had it in him to be a depressing bastard with an acoustic guitar.

I digress - Cannonball's probably my favourite. "There's still a little bit of your song... in my ear" *dies* Ahhhhhh!

Lively Chick, if you've got a penchant for Irish yodellers, you probably need to check the song Fisherman's Blues by The Waterboys out. You might also like Snow Patrol - I find them a bit boring after a bit but the lead singer is a bit tasty so that makes up for it.

EDIT: Sorry, I don't like his voice or the song. How do I explain? His voice does not have that infinite sadness that Jimmy Gnecco or Damien Rice's has. That forlornly sound.

You might also like Snow Patrol - I find them a bit boring after a bit but the lead singer is a bit tasty so that makes up for it.

I find them dreadfully boring. He's a little too limited, vocally, for my tastes.
