I am so in love with him. He's awsome. So much talent. And his sidekick Lisa's voice just blends so perfectly with his. And he's such a hottie I downloaded his songs but will def be buying his 2 albums. I just love Irish singers. They give me what I love: jangly guitars and lots lots of yodelling.

Anyone else a fan?

Yep. I bought 'O' a few weeks after it was first released (he was basically unknown at that point) and have been hooked ever since. My favorites from that album are "Amie," "The Blower's Daughter" and "Delicate."

'9' is also a solid album; it has really grown on me the more I have listened to it. "9 Crimes" and "Sleep Don't Weep" are brilliant.

I finally got the chance to see him live this past summer, when he opened for Fiona Apple. He is a very engaging and talented live performer, although he played a lot of his new songs (his album had not yet been released), so I wasn't able to connect with some of the songs. Still, I would definitely recommend him as a live act.

Which reminds me, he also has a very solid live album called 'Live from the Union Chapel' that you should look into getting. It has 8 live tracks featuring songs from 'O,' plus a couple tracks that aren't on any album. Lisa has I believe 3 solos on here as well, so she is really highlighted. The bad news is that it's going to set you back a pretty penny; I got my copy for 99 cents on eBay about a year and a half ago, but now if you look on there you'll be paying at least $60 for the full CD (there are some 5-track sample versions that are cheaper, but obviously cut out some of the songs). Anyhow, I'm sure you could download the tracks somewhere for much cheaper, or I could burn you a copy if you wanted me to.
