Baltimore Show, Where do we go from here? Options

I was pumped. The venue was small the stage was about 20 feet long. Ed came out and he had a beard and he was growing out his hair. He wore a black skull cap. I was happy because it seemed like 2000/2001. Then they started playing. They sucked. Ed and Chad were so stoned it was ridiculous (If you deny this you are a fool). In no order they played mystery, the river, wings, sophia, heaven, walk the line, rattlesnake, lakinis juice, dolphins cry, run to the water, i alone, all over you, lightning crashes, mirror song, beauty of grey. And thats all folks. 15 songs. Maybe i missed one. I give them credit. 2/3 through they snapped to life and busted out. Chad was his old self. Ed is moving around the stage like he was when he was hanging out with duritz. The rolled into the first encore. LJ, I Alone, LC....thats it. The crowd was so bad they did not come back.

Im going back tommorrow in AC. Im willing to chalk this up as "guys night out" where they got stoned without the wives. Im hoping tommorrow is a drunk show where they play a little longer.

Yeah, Ed practically had more hair than Chad, although you couldn't see the top of his head because he wore a black beanie the whole time. The facial hair looked pretty cool though. Worst Live concert I've ever seen for a whole array of reasons. And no, I don't think it was a night out without wives because wives and parents were there. All I can say is that I bet tonight in AC will be awesome because it seemed like they were saving it all up for tonight. Wish I was going to AC.
