Legends of the FansofLive Message Board Options

With Dan's recent announcement of the *potential* closing down of this site, it got me thinking about all of the people I have met (either personally or in writing) over the years as a result of fansoflive.com. In addition, there have been countless threads, comments, stories, etc. that I remember to this day and will, hopefully, never forget.

Which led me to thinking...who will go down as the past or present "legends" of this board? By that, I mean, which posters (both on the old board and the new) have been the most entertaining, thought-provoking, or just plain ornery people, who you will inevitably remember when you think of this board?

My nominations go to:

- Kymra (who has been around for as long as I can remember, is a self-professed Live dork, and has brought me other memories that I should probably keep quiet about);

- Burd (again, a long-time member, and someone who we have all come across at some time or another on this board; also, often, the voice of reason here);

- mrmcpheezy (a true pot-stirrer in every sense; hasn't been around nearly as long as others, but came along a few years ago in a blaze of controversy that had nearly everyone wanting to either kill him or have his baby; also, one of the most intelligent voices I have come across on any board, and, as I eventually came to realize, a pretty cool guy overall);

- NectarDan (for too many reasons to even try to mention. Just a truly great, giving, patient, and open-minded guy, and by far the greatest legend of them all).

Now...who am I forgetting...

Good lord..... seriously...there are just too many I got to know through the 5 years present. Some just for their awesome sense of humour. And some that were there from the early days... which was just so much sheer fun. Awesome chats we used to have bout nothin in particular.

Ofcourse there's Dan... got to be him... white boxers.... (whoa... back in the days, haha)
Alex... who I got to watch practically growing up.... HAHAHAHA
Manu (Awesome!)
Sammy, Mikkel, Nic, Tina-Louise, Kirsten....

and a lot of "old" members that were heaps of fun but moved on with things in one way or the other.

As for the newer members, almost everyone I came across I liked in one way or the other. Even the ones that started Live should quit/is live gonna quit/ or any other thread with that tone. Sometimes those ppl get ya thinking. The chooksters..... all of em.... Molls, Janice, Heather....

As for threads.... one of my alltime favourites is the white boxerthread (ages ago, but immensely fun). And all the omg, there's a new album.... threads... and some led up to dissapointment, but overall just reading everyone's opinion of live's new stuff was fun.... IS fun.

Personally I also love threads by "new" fans.... the happy hyper posts. OMG I am going to a concert for the first time..... and such. Awesome!

Time flies as they say.... sometimes it feels like 5 weeks iso 5 years.
