i just got it in the mail....get ready is growing on me, so i was looking forward to hearing the "acoustic" version (isnt already basically acoustic on the album?)...anyway, it sounds like its the track from the dual disc....the quality is laughable. it sounds like someone put a mic up to the TV while they were watching the DVD and recorded it for the single.

it also includes the radio edit (? same track time) of the river, as well as an acoustic version.

all in all, a pretty pathetic single. maybe they could have spruced it up with something from a concert....maybe vorst (5/31/03)?? lol.gif lol.gif

I don't understand what the problem is with the River. I think it's an awesome song worthy of being the first single. Apparently people who have a problem with the opening of it don't appreciate harmony.

The song is solid from start to finish.

Thank you Live for one of the few gems (also Mystery and Love Shines) on this album.

The rest is what I could have passed on.

Have to say I disagree with that one....The River and Love Shines are the only ones I pass on. Love Shines is probably my least favorite LIVE song.....and I don't have many of those.....

Is this the beauty of SFTBM. Love Shines is my favourite on SFTBM. And maybe (just maybe) top 10 Live songs. The River is great, but Get Ready is o.k. I don't skip it. I try not to skip any Live songs. If you skip them, they never get betther. The one I always skip, is song one on TC, but thats and old bad habit sad.gif , and the next time I listening to TC I'm not gonna skip it
