The false Pearl Jam ticket brought up a good point - what are the odds that Ed goes solo at some point? By doing all of the writing for the recent albums, has he already gone solo in a sense?

It wouldn't shock me if Ed went solo in some way, though I would be surprised if the band stopped all together. I think the concept of a solo career contradicts some of the things Ed writes about. I could see a temporary journey into a solo career, perhaps for personal exploration purposes.

No, his only fanbase also loves the band. A solo act won't change what he is writing now. It would just be Live without Live.
