Sweet, I'm not the only one. smile.gif

Sometimes I feel like I'm drowning in a country of Christian Fanatics.

Don't capitalize things like that. It implies importance.

I think overall, people who are religious are extremely fearful & don't understand that they have the power within themselves to know right from wrong. So they believe in a bunch of stories (which basically is heresay) that have been passed down from generation to generation, empowering their own personal weaknesses & trusting something completely unknown & unqualified instead of themselves.

It's also a nice little way to get out of claiming responsibility for yourself.

Let me end this with a bunch of *IMHO*s so people don't start lighting crosses on my front lawn.

I could not have said it better myself.

I think there is more to life than we can see. There is no proof either way, but I do believe that there is an afterlife. I definitely do believe in spirits. I never understood why people were so against GOD. Even if a higher power didn't exist, the thought provides comfort for many. Unless you can say 100 percent in either direction, there is no reason to shoot down others beliefs.

At this point in the game, I'd say a definite lack of proof IS proof. And uh ... ever hear of Charles Darwin? Evolution? Biology? Science?

Thanks Heather. *high five*
