As you know tomorrow marks the 5 year anniversary of the darkest day in history. Please remember to pause for the ones who lost there lives that day and keep our military in your prayers!!! NEVER FORGET 9-11-01...

I stare in total disbelief,
heart torn with instant grief.
Plumes of black smoke fill the air,
marking a building no longer there.
I close my eyes, I want to pray,
but my mind doesn't know what to say.
Much like Pearl harbor, so many years ago,
so many gone with one fatal blow.
There are no words to explain,
there are no words to ease the pain.
To those who gave their lives,
Mothers, Fathers, Husbands and Wives,
to all who's lives today did cease,
may your soul find instant peace.
We will honor you and the life you gave,
as a Patriot of "The Land of the Free and the Home of the Brave."

Or perhaps Americans should also be remembering September 11 1968 when they launched an attack on Chile because it was living under a socialist Government. and that meant that they were commies.

America kill more people that day then died in NY.

but lets not remember when America act as terrorists. cause their the good guys.

Rocknerd, would you PLEASE do some research before you post stuff like this. How can anyone take you seriously when you can't even get the dates straight. Salvadore Allende was the socialist elected to be their president on November 3, 1970 (he captured 36.5% of the vote in a three-way race) and he called for a socialist government. He was supported in his run by Popular Unity, a coalition which included the Communist Party. Since he did not receive a majority of the vote, their Constitution called for their Congress to choose between the two candidates receiving the most votes (Jorge Allesandri was second with 35.2% of the vote). Okay, the Congress elected Allende after he agreed to full Constitutional guarantees. Of course, upon taking office one of the first things he called for was a new constitution. It has indeed been established that the CIA supported efforts to thwart his election. It is indeed the first time a socialist was elected in the Western Hemisphere.

The overthrow of the government occurred on September 11, 1973. Gen. Augusto Pinochet Ugarte took over the government and vowed to eradicate Marxists, killing somewhere between 3,000 and 10,000 depending on estimates. The CIA actually contributed to an aborted coup in June 1973 by a right-wing contingent of their military.

And you are damn right, we are the good guys!
