Ok, if the Aussies can have one for the AFL, we can have our own.

Personally, I prefer the college game, although I still watch the NFL.

I am sure it is surprising that I am an avid fan of the Georgia Bulldogs!

How about anyone else? Who do you follow?

the state of Georgia has lost a legend

Erk Russell, former defensive coordinator for the University of Georgia and head coach of Georgia Southern University passed away yesterday. Coach Russell was a true warrior who will be greatly missed. He was the original Junkyard Dog, and no coach has ever had players play harder. After winning the national championship as Georgia's defensive coordinator, he took over the reigns of a Georgia Southern program that had been dormant for forty years and led them to 3 Division I-AA national championships.

I will never forget watching him head butt his defensive players at UGA; his bloody bald head against their helmets! But more than his warrior attitude, the man had the heart of a lion and truely cared about his kids.

I salute you my brother! RIP!
