top 5 bands Options

So here it is a topic very close to my heart.

What are your top 5 bands?
Now they dont have to be in any particular order or from any particular decade or country.
I'm interested in what music people listen to other than LIVE.
you could even ad reasons why or how you happened to come across these bands.
I am currently stuck for new bands from any generation to ad to my collection as many modern bands bore the life out of me so please post!

All of these bands have had a major impact on my life in one way or another.
For LZ they were the first rock band i ever heard and new the moment i heard them that i wanted to bea rock god! IM blow me away with there story telling imagry in songs like rhyme of the ancient mariner and hallowed be thy name THE CLASH just rock! its hard to remember when i first heard them but all i know is they are the greatest punk band ever! THE WHO are a band that won me over with their stage antics smash guitars, amp, drum kits and playing at 120 decibels!

AS for LIVE it was my best friend and now my hetrosexual life partner who turned me on to LIVE and have loved EDS lyrics and the over all bands playing in such a way that it seems that the songs made the band not the other way round.

My top 5 of bands is really diverse (not just rock) and the order changes every day (depends on how I feel, what happened that day or in the days before and what's on my mind on the moment that I want to hear music).

1. Live (needs no introduction, I love the way their songs make me think deeper about things, although it's sometimes not easy.)
2. Clouseau (Belgian popband that makes pop- and rockballads with classical and nowdays also Southern American influences. They make songs in Dutch on being in love, lovesickness, dead, but also about enjoying life no matter who you are and nowadays they have also songs on the missery in the world. They songs are often either sad, romantic or happy and funny. And I feel sometimes quiet supported by their music and lyrics although it's less deep than Live).
3. Queen (they don't need introduction either, do they)
4. Bon Jovi (don't laugh, I've got a few good childhood-memories in which their music plays a role and I still love it. Okay, it's not too deep what Jon sings, but it makes me feel happy).
5. Blöf (Dutch pop/rock band that uses all kinds of music from almost litterlarly all over the world in their songs and they travel a lot all over the world to get inspired and to work together with musicans from other countries in Europe, The USA, Southern America, Africa, Asia and Australia. I wait for the day that they are gonna play together with Live. I hope that that will happen someday! The not so good thing is that the lyrics of a few of their songs are a little negative. But I understand that. They have had a lot of bad luck in their lifes and their band).
