Seether.... new acoustic CD + DVD, JUNE 6th Options

June 6, 2006, Mark your calendars as this is going to be the release date of the new Seether acoustic record. Recently, we filmed and recorded an entire acoustic show, in Pat's hometown of Philadelphia. The record is set with 14 songs, all done acoustically. This is unlike anything you have seen Seether do before. If you were lucky enough to catch one of the rare acoustic performances on this past Snocore tour, you know what I mean.

The new disc will be accompanied with a DVD of the full performance, so not only can you take it in your car to listen you can watch it on the tube...

In other news, YAHOO MUSIC will premiere the new GIFT video on their site this Friday, March 17th. Here is the link music.yahoo.com. It is incredible. We shot most of it in Oaxaca, Mexico where we had a blast drinking lots of Mescal and visiting the dead on our off time...

This is totally about Shaun Morgan....for one the guy was rarely sober thats why he just went into rehab about a month ago. 2nd she has some call backs in this song to a couple of Seether Songs.

In the Seether song Out of my Way there are these lines

"I can’t pass up this opportunity to make myself absurd,
I can’t pass up this opportunity to let myself be heard.
Would you, like to, be the one who sees me lose this all,
Would you, like to, be the one who sees me fall."

Then in another Seether song there are these lyrics I can't remember the title off the top of my head

Now look at this from Call Me When Your Sober

Unless she's just stealing Shaun's idea I think its about him.
