what do you think about this song?
for me is some kind of scream for the end of the "war" in Iraq. but should they so loudly show us their in some way political ideas?
maybe for me it inst so obvious because I live in a country which has send there not so many people...and here we hardly ever even hear about this problem.

I find it laughable and even pathetic when ANY "artist" takes his/her liberties with things they have no clue about. I would not write about being president, because I have never been president. I am pretty sure going to war is not like being in love or any other great idea songwriters try to write about without having necessarily experiencing it. I suppose it would be one thing if there was some irony in what was being said, though I wouldn't necessarily be for it, I could respect it alot more. When it comes out as earnest it just seems so weak.

Artists can do whatever they want, and I will protect their ability to express themselves freely, but I will also express myself freely for/against their work.

the song is not about what its like to be in the army! its about setting a clear date so that all those soldiers and their familes will know when their sons and daughters are coming home.

anyone can know what its like to worry about friends and family in war zones so get off your pro war horse and actually listen to the song instead of just presuming its anti-war......
