Last night I had the pleasure of attending the Collective Soul show in Atlanta. What an incredible show. They started by playing 4 songs as a band before Ed Roland took center stage alone and played Youth on acoustic. He then left the stage and Join Together by the Who started playing as the kids from the Atlanta Youth Symphony Orchestra took the stage, joining the band for the remainder of the 2 hour set. It appeared only about half the number of kids from the orchestra were there compared with the 2005 shows they recorded on DVD, but they were still incredible.

CS also treated us to a new tune which sounded incredible. Despite the personnel changes of the past few years, the band sounded as tight as ever. Joel's guitar work was incredible!

If you have not seen the Home DVD or heard the CD, I strongly suggest you pick it up and you will understand.
