Ed deleting his MySpace? Options

Ed just posted this bulletin on MySpace:

dear myspace friends,
greetings from the road! i am posting this bulletin to let you know that i will be deleting this profile and saying goodbye to myspace. there is another "myspace"-esque site called "zaadz.com" and i am going to start a profile over there. its like myspace with a mission, and i want to support it. so check me over there! all the best and lots of love

Sorry, but everyone is a hero to someone else, whether you like it or not. Now, if Ed put them on a level higher than Jesus, then and only then I would have a problem.

well, as soon as another one of those "hero's" turns water into wine... walks on water... raises from the dead... heals the blind, lame, sick, etc...

you get my point.

i guess i don't really have "hero's" in my life (outside of Jesus Christ)..... sure, my parents would def. be "heros" if i were to make a list.... and i'm sure that there are a lot of great people out there that have all done great things, but i just don't use the word "hero" as loosely as some.

for instance, Bono... a great singer for a great band............. that's it.

i would feel foolish saying that the lead singer of U2 is a HERO to me. why? the lead singer to U2 doesn't even know me.

oprah... very successful, very smart, very generous woman. that has a talk show that i haven't watched in probably 10 years.

and, i know their not dead, but i do know they won't die to save my soul. they don't need to.

Wheather that is hero worthy or not I guess is debateable, what isn't debateable is that Bono's musical talents are beyond overrated.

This zaadz thing also just seems like another "interlectual" internet wankfest. oo I'm loaded with bitterness today.
