Chad Taylor posted some sad news about Jimmy Lang on his Instagram today. Jimmy has been a vital part of the Live community for many years. I hope he has a swift recovery.

I wanted to share an update on our friend Jimmy Lang, who needs our prayers. Long before most bands had a website, Jimmy was designing and implementing digital platforms for LIVE fans to connect. He has been a part of the global LIVE family for as long as I can remember.

On February 17, Jimmy and his wife Renata were on their way back to the U.S. from Brazil when Jimmy suffered a hemorrhagic stroke in his brainstem, which left him in critical condition. Due to the risks of flying, they have had to stay in Brazil.

Jimmy spent 22 days in the ICU, including 15 days in a coma after brain surgery. He’s now in rehab, conscious and aware, but still facing challenges with speaking and walking. His progress so far is a miracle, and Renata is grateful for every small victory.

The doctors are hopeful, but Jimmy’s recovery will take time. Renata says they are taking it day by day, focusing on building Jimmy’s strength. Right now, Renata doesn’t know when they’ll be able to return to the U.S., but getting Jimmy stable remains her priority.

Although this is overwhelming for them and their family, Renata said our love and prayers are making a difference.

Won’t you please take a quick minute to send Jimmy and Renata some love.

Oh no, that's horrible news! Hope the recovery goes as well and as fast as possible.
