Short review and partial setlist.

The other day, I made a post about how my good buddy Chad Taylor stopped by the studios, and played some acoustic versions of a handful of his songs throughout the years — and the performance was amazing, mind you.

Well also in that post, I told you about an upcoming show Chad Taylor was going to be playing in the city, and last night was the big night!

It goes without saying, of course, I was in the building! I wasn’t going to miss an opportunity to see some great live music.

Last night, Chad Taylor, who many of you will recognize from his work with the band Live, played at a fantastic venue called Vinyl, which is located right in the heart of Center City.

Chad Taylor and Friends played for a little over an hour, and the packed house loved every single minute of the show.

There’s nothing better than seeing talented musicians perform live.

To say that Chad Taylor can sing would be the understatement of the century — the guy is a great vocalist.

Plus, his guitar work has always been great, whether that be with an acoustic set like last night, or with an electric guitar.

During the show, Chad Taylor and Friends played a ton of material ranging from songs by Live, Gracious Few, and even some of Chad Taylor’s original numbers.

Hearing Live songs like “All Over You,” “Lightning Crashes,” “Lakini’s Juice,” and “Selling The Drama” reworked by Chad and his band was so neat and refreshing.

By the way, Vinyl is the best new music venue and restaurant combination in the city. By far!
