Chad Gracey, Patrick Dalheimer and Chad Taylor started playing together in 1985 after being put together by music teacher Mr. Carn.
Early band names were First Aid (played talent show in 1985), then Action Front.
Ed Kowalczyk joined later as lead singer. Public Affection was name when played Temple Dance in 1988.
