Join us for an intimate evening to celebrate the long-awaited return to the stage for Chad Taylor, founding member, co-songwriter, and former guitarist of the multi-platinum band LIVE.

After a three-year hiatus, the musical performance will feature a robust music catalog, including songs from LIVE, The Gracious Few, and new material. Taylor fronts the five-piece band on vocals and guitar while performing “Taylor’s Version” of songs spanning his nearly 40-year musical journey. This is a new path in Taylor’s historic rise from CBGB’s, 9:30 Club, and The Chameleon Club to global recognition.

Taylor & Friends is filled with fresh faces and at least one musician with a bowling average above 220 who has a known affinity for chocolate Easter bunnies.

It's been a very long time since I've posted here on this site. My history with this band and its members goes back about as far as anyone who I know who posts or has posted here. I had an event that occurred a couple of years ago that changed my life forever and my perspective on many things has changed. I no longer involve myself into the affairs and drama that may or may not exist with this band. My focus on life is so much more than wrapping myself into moderating message boards, running band pages, and dealing with the nonsense that is on the outer reaches beyond the music.

I'm happy that Chad and Pat are playing music together. I was happy to be able see Chris Shinn and Pat play music together live a couple months ago. I'm happy that Gracey is doing his podcast thing and I'm happy that Ed is out playing the music he loves on tour. Trust me when I say I was about as close as you'd ever want to be to the drama that has played out over the last few years. Thankfully something told me to separate myself from it all before it really came crashing down.

I've been a fan of this band and its music since I was a middle school student hearing the song Good Pain the first time from a dubbed cassette tape copy of Death of a Dictionary. There have been times when I haven't listened to the music at all and several times I've turned the radio off when the music comes on while on my commutes. However, over the last couple of months I've softened on that stance and have given the music a listen. The most important thing this band gave me was its music which then gave me many memories (some I'm missing now due to a Traumatic Brain Injury I suffered) and ultimately gave me many friends I met along the way. For that I am forever grateful and no amount of drama can take that away.

If you are here to just constantly stir the pot and looking to get off your shots at the members of the band please find a place to use that energy for a positive. I am sure you can read many old posts from me that had that negative energy during the height of the band split. I wish I could change that time period, but unfortunately I was pulled in and couldn't see the negative energy that it was bringing on me. Now back to the relatively drama free life I lead these days and spending the next few days celebrating my wedding anniversary on a trip. Nothing but love to all that read this.

Would you mind sharing a bit more information about the show in its own thread? You're the only person I know who has attended this show. What tracks were played? How long did it last? Do you happen to have any video of the show?
