Here's my mp3 recording of the recent stop in Michigan at the Four Winds Casino in New Buffalo. The hall there is called the Silver Creek Center.

I must say of several of concerts I've captured over the years, the sound in this venue is one of the very best I've ever experienced in person. It was my first-time ever wearing ear-plugs (I'm finally protecting myself) and it was all, still, crystal clear.

The recording was captured using a stereo mic that plugs into Apple products. From there, I took the files and ran them through Audacity for editing -- to cut fat and separate lengthy intros and talking parts. The whole thing was finalized in iTunes, where I labeled tracks and used a picture found in the Facebook group for album art. All you have to do is download all of the files and it'll come together.

I'm thoroughly impressed by the return in prowess of Ed's energy, edginess and voice on this current tour. Not to mention, these sets are so welcomed compared to what we got from the "reunion" era. They're finally tackling Hold Me Up regularly and this event also had the Mental Jewelry deep cuts Brothers Unaware and Mother Earth Is A Vicious Crowd.

As everyone knows, at this current time, Ed Kowalczyk is the only founding member touring under the LIVE name. I'll leave it there, as that horse has already been way too beaten down. Simply put, I was grateful to get any part of their catalogue -- as the long silence was sad.

This goes without saying, but it's imperative to share this freely and do whatever you can to support LIVE with attendances to shows and/or buying up some merch.
