[Audio] Secret Samadhi 25th Anniversary Edition (2CD & 5CD), Fan-made project in lieu of anything official from the band Options

In lieu of an official 25th Anniversary release from the band, I've created a fan-made compilation that follows the format of the previous anniversary releases for Mental Jewelry and Throwing Copper.

It presents the album and available outtakes on Disc 1, and a pristine live soundboard recording from the week that the album was released on Disc 2. This show, recorded live at the Warehouse in Toronto, has long been available via the 'Secret Samadhi Concert Broadcast' pre-FM radio discs, however this is the first time it has been compiled with The Psychedelic Furs cover 'Love My Way' from the same show (released as a B-Side to 'Freaks') and with the interspered band interviews removed. The songs have been rearranged in setlist order with the crowd noise patched together to form a seamless listening experience.

Also soon available will be a 5CD Expanded Deluxe Edition collecting together all officially released rarities and alternate versions available from the Secret Samadhi era, including a never before shared pre-FM show

This is an 'Expanded Deluxe Edition' that collects together all officially released rarities and alternate versions available from the Secret Samadhi era.

Disc 5 includes a never-before heard pre-FM soundboard recording of the band's final show of 1997 at KROQ Almost Acoustic Christmas at the Universal Amphitheatre in Los Angeles, liberated from the vaults thanks our old friend swami

It isn't the full show (which had circulated among some fans as an inferior FM>tape recording), but it sounds great and sees the band in fine form - already looking ahead to the next album with a 'Sun' tag in 'I Alone'

As with the Warehouse show, the live tracks have been remastered by my mate Johnny to be less brickwalled for a smoother listen that you can crank to 11
